Redo Sgr SpA / Snøhetta Oslo AS - ARIA Ex Macello Master Plan

A former slaughterhouse complex in Milan's Calvairate district is reemerging as a new neighborhood that ties together the current fragmented urban fabric and connects with existing green infrastructure. It emphasizes plant-based systems to purify air, preserve cultural heritage, and engage the community.

Fondazione BEIC / Onsite Studio SRL - BEIC European Library

A non-conventional library focused on storing and providing access to cultural treasures for the future. It serves as a laboratory aimed at developing the tools required to create contemporary culture.

Milan 5.0 SRL / Stefano Boeri Architetti - Bosconavigli

The project serves as a crucial link between the densely urbanized city fabric and a historic district known for its low-density buildings and abundant green spaces. It springs from and grows around the landscape’s natural heritage, as if seeking to camouflage itself with its surroundings.

Politecnico di Milano / Renzo Piano Building Workshop - Bovisa-Goccia Master Plan

A science park and innovation hub will be developed, featuring designated zones tailored to cater to the needs of students, businesses, and citizens. The Bovisa-Goccia area will serve as the site for the expansion of the campus of the Politecnico di Milano, encompassing a total area of 32 hectares.

BFF Bank SpA / Open Building Research Srl - Casa BFF 

A sustainable, 7,000 square meters office building with public spaces and an art gallery, is set to open in Milan's Portello district. It aims for sustainable certifications, featuring a distinctive photovoltaic Flying Carpet canopy as a design feature.

Cascina Merlata SpA / ACPV Architects  - Cascina Merlata Master Plan 

A significant urban development project in the northwest of Milan, it includes a mix of residential and commercial spaces connected by a large central green park. The district aims to enhance livability by providing social housing close to essential services like shops, schools, and transportation.

CityLife - General Real Estate / Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) - CityWave 

An architecture that features a horizontal development in the form of a portal, consisting of ten and twenty-floor volumes connected by a 140-meter suspended roof serving as a sky. It will include a large-scale portico spanning 200 meters, creating a spacious shaded public area as the primary entrance to CityLife.

Coima SGR SpA / Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects - Gioia 22 

The development obtained a LEED certification, adopts a Cradle-to-Cradle approach in the choice of materials, will limit energy consumption recognizing the introduction of effective sustainable building best practices and equipped with green mobility systems.

Fondazione Human Technopole / Piuarch -  Human Technopole Headquarters

Featuring interconnected public spaces—parterre, covered plaza, and roof garden—the design fosters collaboration and idea sharing. With flexible offices, labs, and eco-friendly elements, this marks a pivotal moment for Italian research, highlighting architecture's integral role in shaping collaborative environments.

Coima SGR SpA / ACPV Architects - I Portali

The towers form the northern gateway to Porta Nuova. The building interprets post-pandemic needs and is built by reaching the objective of substantial contribution to climate mitigation.

Redo Sgr SpA / Zucchi Architetti - IED Ex Macello

The project’s presence facilitates the revitalization of dormant structures, fosters inclusive residential communities, and enables the growth of its globally significant institution.

Siro Investimenti SRL / Marzorati Architettura - Le Nuovo Terme (Teatro delle Terme)

This project aims to transform the historic Liberty-style former De Montel stables into Milan's first true thermal baths, utilizing the sulfurous 'acqua marcia' flowing beneath the city. It will be the largest Italian spa complex in a large city and the first green spa in Europe, with zero CO2 emissions.

Nhood Corporate / Metrogramma - Loreto Open Community Master Plan

The project entails the reclamation of over 9,000 square meters of urban space for public use. A dedicated square promoting meeting and soft mobility will be established, emphasizing functionality. The focus lies on integrating culture, social interaction, essential services, and green areas within the LOC, encouraging community engagement.

Luxottica Group / Park Associati - Luxottica Digital Factory 

In pursuit of architectural excellence and innovation, transitioning from energy-focused to technology-driven endeavors. Retaining the site's original volumes and character, the intervention integrates contemporary elements into both the façade and interior spaces, emphasizing on construction quality.

LendLease Italy SGR SpA / Mario Cucinella Architects - MIND Milano Master Plan 

Set to be Italy's latest innovation district in Milan, it maximizes the former Expo 2015 area. The principles based on Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) were applied from the very earliest stages of master planning—a method that enables lifetime control and assessment of carbon and CO2 emissions. All the buildings in the said area will be LEED BD+C and WELL AP certified buildings.

LendLease Italy SGR SpA / MAD Architects - MOLO (Mobility and Logistics Hub)

A development that will be a reference project in the area that hosted Expo Milano 2015, in place of what was Pavilion Zero. Designed as an integration of nature and architecture, it performs as a welcoming entrance and education space for issues related to mobility.

Luigi Bocconi Commercial University / SANAA - New Bocconi Campus Mater Plan 

The concept of campus is redefined as an integral element of the urban fabric, characterized by a unitary, organic, non-invasive, and simultaneously open set of buildings—both physically and visually integrated within the context.

Kryalos SGR / Park Associati - Pharo Business Center 

The development features forward-thinking and sustainable architecture, seamlessly integrating urban mending, permeability, and energy efficiency. Illuminated at night, Pharo acts as a beacon, serving as a prominent city landmark.

Coima SGR SpA / Diller Scofidio + Renfro (DS+ R) and Stefano Boeri Architetti - Pirelli 39/ Torre Botanica

The innovative tower incorporates 700 square meters of vegetation spread across its floors. This greenery alters the building's appearance with changing seasons, absorbing 14 tons of CO2 annually and generating 9 tons of oxygen, equivalent to the output of a 10,000 square meter forest.

Sicaf Ardian-Prelios SpA /   Be.St Stefano Belingardi Clusoni Architect - Primo Milano 

A project that is Nearly Zero Energy Building and is able to achieve 34% higher energy efficiency than a Grade A building and annual savings of 120 tons of CO2, placing it among the most advanced buildings for environmental sustainability and aligned to the Paris Treaty's CO2 emissions target until 2050.

CityLife Development / Studio Daniel Libeskind - PWC Tower

A 175-meter tall building with 31 above-ground floors is one of the three new office buildings of Citylife development in Milan. It is an innovative, environmentally sustainable structure serving as PricewaterhouseCoopers' Italian headquarters for 3,500 people.

Coima SGR SpA / SOM - Scalo di Porta Romana Master Plan  

The project involves the construction of six new buildings and the restoration of two pre-existing industrial buildings, as well as the creation of an Olympic square. The apartments will accommodate around 1,400 athletes, intended for conversion into student residences and designated for social housing.  The rest wil be reserved for private residences.       

Borio Mangiarotti SpA / Mario Cucinella Architects - Sei Milano Master Plan

The project is a mixed-use urban regeneration development within the city's green ring of over 300,000 square meters in the south-west of Milan. This initiative focuses on revitalizing a previously neglected area into a modern neighborhood centered around an intelligent urban ecosystem.

Covivio Development SpA / ACPV Architects - Symbiosis Master Plan

A new Business District in the south of the city that covers 125,000 square meters, all buildings are energy class A with the aim of obtaining LEED Platinum certification. It aims to foster relationships and synergies among its users, bridging the public and private sectors, as part of the Sharing Cities initiative.

Covivio Development SpA / ACPV Architects - Symbiosis Building D 

A redefinition of the workspace as a place that can adapt to employees’ personal and professional needs. Designed with sustainability in mind, it interacts with the existing buildings and green public areas of its surroundings and has obtained LEED Platinum and WELL Bronze certifications for its focus on people’s well-being, indoor comfort, and energy-efficient design.

Covivio Development SpA /Progetto CMR - The Sign Milano

The complex was born as the redevelopment of a former industrial site from the 1950s, which acquires a completely new look, ideally in line with the cultural and creative ferment that characterizes the area in which it will be built.

MilanoSesto /  Scandurra Studio Architettura - UMI 4-5 (Free Residences) 

The courtyard buildings located along the Green Boulevard, introduces the key pedestrian avenue of MilanoSesto, opening to the city and becoming an integral part of it. The courtyards were designed to serve public use, encouraging transitions and continuous exchanges between the station square, the health park, and the green boulevard.

MilanoSesto / Foster + Partners - Unione Zero Master Plan 

The project, with its 250,000 square meters of built surface, will be the first private lot to be built in MilanoSesto. It marks the beginning of the goal of regeneration, converting the Falck Steelworks site into a dynamic urban hub.

UnipolSai Assicurazioni SpA / Mario Cucinella Architects   - Unipol Headquarters 

A singular elliptical-shaped tower, with internal hanging gardens and a double-skin external casing covered with a wooden and glass lattice that recalls a nest. It is a dual-layered facade that resembles a weaving of organized branches, engaging with light and air.

Redo Sgr SpA / Kengo Kuma - Welcome Terrazze Verdi

The development aims to establish a space with a clear identity and visibility that naturally integrates with its surrounding environment through dialogue. It applies the principles of biophilia into architecture.
