The project entails constructing twenty new four-story buildings covering approximately 105,000 square meters, integrating civic schools and interconnected by tree-lined pedestrian pathways to promote community engagement. A prominent cycle-pedestrian axis will connect the gasometers and Lambruschini campus, facilitating access between the Bovisa and Villapizzone stations, which will undergo renovation. Situated between gasometers and a thermal power plant, the construction preserves a 24-hectare forest while highlighting industrial archaeology. The project aims for energy independence and CO2 emission elimination, incorporating three classroom buildings, five for startups, and university residences totaling approximately 500 accommodation spaces. The design includes the redevelopment of a historic industrial building for food services. Large trees will connect the new structures, and transparent ground levels provide immersive natural experiences. All campus buildings will predominantly feature wooden structures, with trees planted to offset construction wood usage within thirty years.
