The Pharo project focuses on urban integration, emphasizing permeability and connectivity within the urban fabric. The development reimagines the entire city block, particularly along Via Gattamelata, creating a new open public square at the corner of Via Teodorico. This square, strategically positioned as a central hub. It fosters accessibility to Piazza Turr and Via Teodorico, showcasing the site's high permeability. The architectural composition features a cohesive series of volumes characterized by projecting elements and varied surface materials, culminating in a 67-meter-high tower as the focal point. Achieving LEED Platinum certification, the building prioritizes energy efficiency. The façade design balances transparent glass panels with solid surfaces in anodized aluminum or perforated sheet metal, effectively minimizing heat gain and ensuring privacy without compromising daylighting. Emphasizing sustainability, the façade design minimizes material usage by adjusting the thickness of shielding elements based on solar exposure. This dynamic approach creates a fluid and engaging architectural expression, enhancing the building's overall visual impact while addressing energy performance requirements.
