Emphasizing social and environmental sustainability, the project incorporates energy-efficient building technologies and offers various cultural, sports, and leisure activities. Specifically on environmental sustainability, all buildings within the neighborhood achieve Class A+ energy efficiency standards. The entire area is powered by district heating and geothermal systems, ensuring efficient energy utilization throughout. Additionally, the park's green spaces are equipped with public Wi-Fi connectivity, enhancing accessibility and connectivity for visitors. Furthermore, the implementation of a video surveillance system within the park is under consideration, with a focus on enhancing safety in the vicinity of environmentally sensitive areas. The Masterplan includes the creation of a new urban park spanning 250,000 square meters. This park will be intricately linked with the residential areas and connected to renovated existing green spaces. Additionally, the park will feature one of the ‘green rays’, which are pathways and cycle/pedestrian routes extending from the city center.
