3D-Printed wheelchair promises to conform to user’s build, using her/him measurements to precisely 3D print both the seat and foot bay to match. This technology capture each individual's unique body shape to enhance the form and format of a very necessary product and provide a performance. The 3D printed parts of it included the seat with integrated cushioning structure and the foot rest. Everything from the backrest height and angle to seat curvature and center of mass is taken into account, and that's before the user select the side bars or guards and pattern that best suit her/his needs. The seat is printed in two materials – a semi-transparent resin and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) plastic that provides shock-absorption – while titanium will be used to construct the foot bay.
