Ruota a due marce  completamente meccanica, senza batterie. Studiata per sostituire nelle carrozzine per disabili le ruote tradizionali a raggi o le ruote con motore elettrico. Un meccanismo brevettato permette all’utente di innestare la marcia più bassa quando deve affrontare delle salite o terreni accidentati, riducendo notevolmente lo sforzo necessario per superare il dislivello o l’ostacolo. Un’altra caratteristica è Hill Holder che entra in funzione quando è innestata la marcia più bassa. Permette all’utente di riposarsi tra una spinta e la successiva senza scivolare all’indietro, evitando così tensioni eccessive nella parte superiore del corpo causate dallo sforzo. L’utente può fermarsi, riposarsi, rispondere al telefono o semplicemente godersi il panorama. Il particolare sistema frenante fa sì che in discesa  con la marcia bassa si possa ottenere lo stesso risultato con il 50% in meno di sforzo. Sostanzialmente aumenta il potere frenante senza che sia richiesto uno sforzo superiore. L’innovazione alla base di questa tecnologia è un meccanismo di marce brevettato detto hypocycloidal reduction drive, che determina speciali caratteristiche di carico e frizione. Il cambio può essere controllato facilmente anche da utenti con ridotta capacità degli arti superiori.

Mechanical two-geared wheels with no batteries or motors which replace the standard wheels on a manual wheelchair. These two easily shifted gears assure an extraordinary mobility enhancement to navigate ramps, hills, thick carpets and all types of uneven as grass or gravel or rough terrain. They cater to both the active user who is in and out of their car all day, as well as those who just need a little assistance getting up and down simple ramps. Everyday use of the two-speed drive may also lessen the possibility of stress and strain to arms and shoulders, pushing the wheelchair during daily activities.
The wheel employs two gears: high and low. In high gear it moves like a normal wheelchair wheel. But, when shifted into low gear, the wheelchair becomes twice as easy to push and can be used easily to navigate nearly everywhere. As a matter of fact it also has a hill holding feature. On an incline, the hill holder stops the wheelchair from rolling backwards between pushes, thus alleviating the need to surge your wheelchair while climbing, reducing effort. The wheelchair has so more stability and confers on this way confidence to people.
