My-Hand

Artificial limb is a device that with only one engine allows the thumb to rotate and flex alternately. This function ensures the performance of all grasps with no impact on weight at the same time ensuring elevated robustness. The robotic hand allows the performance of seven different movements which enable amputees to grab big and small objects, turn a key, press a button, write on a keyboard and even hold a cigarette between their fingers. The movements and hand grips, in fact, can be activated and controlled through wearable sensors that detect nerve signals of muscles and transmit them to the prosthesis. At the same time, the tactile sensors integrated in the fingers record the interactions with the environment, which are then redirected to the subject via small vibrators placed on the remaining part of the limb.
