Orthopaedic brace generated by 3D scan software use a biocompatible material, thus it can fabricate the brace without stops. Braces made using 3D scan software technology are lightweight and less bulky, water resistant, and customizable in different colors. The plastic material makes it water friendly allowing the patient to use it in water. It can be printed with different colors and customizations making it ideal for children. Modelling software can automatically generate the braces and allowing modifications according to patients need. Once the scanned image of patient's limb is imported into the computer, it is ready for modeling. The file containing the image of the exoskeleton is sent to the machine that prints the device using a hypoallergenic plastic material. After the software modelling of 3D, the brace is ready to be applied to the patient.
