Robot assisting in the care of elderly and disabled people is able to help older adults stay in their home and independent longer. It can remind someone to take their medication, let them stay connected to family and friends through simple video calls, read email messages aloud, or call to emergency teams for help. It protects the user’s home, offers assistance in the kitchen, entertains the family with music and videos, acts as a calendar and alarm clock and interfaces with home solutions, among many other activities. It has many services such as home security, smart home, social interaction, personal assistant, multi media player, edutainment, elder care and more. It is also able to hear, speak, see and make coinciding head movements.
